Corner Stone

Corner Stone is an Outreach Ministry. Our object is the advancement of the Christian religion for the benefit of society in providing or assisting in the welfare of the underprivileged in areas of religion, education and other means possible in order to improve their quality of life. Religion

Since we started our mission in Sierra Leone in 2008 we have established two assemblies in Newton one in the villages of Rogberay and more recently in Fogba village. Hundreds of people are giving their lives to Christ in these predominantly Muslim areas.

Education

In 2008 we set up a sponsor a child scheme in the UK we now have over15 sponsors in the UK and some 5 sponsors of business people in Sierra Leone. We are providing:

• Materials for School Uniforms
• Tailoring
• School Fees
• Shoes, Trainers
• Text Books
• Exercise Books, Pens, Pencils Rulers etc

Our aim is to seek funding for the rest of the pupils. Due to poor management, We were asked by the Community to run the Junior Secondary school in Rogberay. We have therefore merged the school in Fogbo to that of Rogberay and brought them into one management. The new school is now call Koya Secondary School.

Agriculture

We have set up an agricultural project. Both men, women and youth of Rogberay and the surrounding villages joined in this project in planting, Rice, Ground Nut, Corn. Corner Stone provides the capital. Join us as we need you in our programme of transforming communities through God’s Love.
