Fundraising Challenge

Ever fancied rock climbing, running a mile or even shaving your head? Perhaps you're a brilliant cook, love to iron or have loads of bits you want to sell? Whatever your dream or skill, why not capitilise on it to change a child's life in Sierra Leone.

This May Bank Holiday, we're organising a fundraising challenge, encouraging you wonderful people to rise to the money raising challenge and make a difference in the life of a child. Who will raise the most money? Who will come up with the best challenge? Follow the easy steps below to take part in the Compassion Africa Fundraising Challenge:

1. Choose your challenge:
Make it ambitious, make it fun, make it sporty, make it simple. Whatever you do, make a difference! Here are some ideas: Cake Sale, All night Hockey/Basketball, Ebay Auction, 5 Aside Football Tournament, Fun Day (Bouncy Castle, Stalls etc), Sponsored Silence or Hop, Slave for a Day, Playstation 3 - athon, Bunjee Jump or Abseiling, Swim with Sharks, Shave your Head/Legs.

2. Get prepared:
Download your sponsorship form or fundraising pack to collect money from your sponsors & create an online fundraising page to promote your idea and accept credit/debit card donations! Tell us all about your challenge by emailing us at office@compassionafrica.com so we can promote your challenge.

3. Do it!:
Complete your challenge

4. Collect your sponsorship:
Send a cheque to the Compassion Africa office or pay online by using the donation form shown on the left of this page (but please still send us your sponsorship form so that we can Gift Aid it.)

5. Feel pleased:
Sit back and feel pleased with yourself for rising to the challenge and making a difference in lives of children in Sierra Leone
