In June, Tim and Ceri were awarded a Star of Excellence for ‘…devoting their time to bring HOPE and STABILITY to Sierra Leonean orphans.’ The award was presented to Tim and Ceri at the “STARS” of Sierra Leone Awards Gala and Banquet in Tottenham, London, by a representative of GLOBAL WOMEN, a charitable organization created by a group of Sierra Leoneans living abroad ( i.e. Europe, USA, etc.) to recognize and promote enterprise in the community, as well as, non-Sierra Leoneans who have made a positive contribution to the lives of people in the country.
